Urethane Molding Facility
Located on five and a half acres near the George Bush Intercontinental Airport in Houston, Texas, the Whitefield Plastics urethane molding facility encompasses nearly 28,000 square feet of manufacturing and office space. Built in 2007, this custom-designed facility features the following aspects specifically designed for urethane molding:
- Eight computer-controlled mixing machines
- 5-ton overhead crane with a 24 foot hook to handle large molds & parts
- Ovens that will accommodate molds and parts up to 5000 lbs.
- Custom work cells
- Machine shop
- High-density overhead utilities allowing for continuous reconfiguration for optimal work flow
- Factory Acceptance Testing facilities (FAT)
- Integrated quality control
- Addresses all aspects of HSSE (health, safety, security, environment)
- In-house engineering
